The 2020 CSA is full.
Please let me know if you would like to be added to the email list for when the farm stand opens.
Members buy a share in the spring and receive produce throughout the summer and fall; from early June through mid October. Each share is $500 for 20 weeks of produce, so you can expect to get on average $25 worth of produce each week. It is possible to do a half share by splitting a share with someone, and many individuals and couples have found this to be a more reasonable quantity of veggies. I am happy to help you find someone to share with, but then it will be your responsibility to arrange the dividing of produce.
CSA members are responsible for picking up their box full of the bounty of the farm each week, on Mondays evening at the farm in Golden (888 Urban St). Be aware that your box will vary from week to week by what and how much produce is in season.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What if I can’t make it to pick-‐up one week? You can arrange for a friend to pick up your share for you – or gift it to someone for the week! Or, because this is a small CSA we have some flexibility, if I have advance notice, I may be able to swap your pick up day for that week. If you will be out of town and do not want your share for a particular week, please let me know ahead of time as well.
What if I don’t want everything in my share this week? You can leave an item that you do not want or talk to a fellow CSA member about swapping an item for the week. Or feel free to ask me how I like to cook it, and I will happily share a recipe.
Can I get more of a particular item? Let me know if you’d like more of something specific, and I will let you know if there is extra. I will let you know throughout the season if there is canning or freezing quantities of something to purchase.
Can I split my share with someone else? You are welcome to split or share your share, but it will be your responsibility to divide the produce. In the past some members have split up each weeks share, and others have taken turns picking up produce every other week. Please be sure to provide me with contact information for both members.
What kind of variety can I expect in my vegetable share? It is my goal to provide you with as much variety of vegetables as I can. I strive to provide you with all the vegetables you would need for the week. Clearly this depends on what part of the season we are in, and how much and what your family cooks and eats. You will receive some regulars like greens, carrots, cucumbers, and beans, and you will also get some unique varieties and vegetables. A box in the late July might include chard, summer squash, eggplant, beans, cucumbers, beets, and basil. Never be afraid to ask for a recipe for something you aren’t familiar with.
Please feel free to let me know if you have other questions about the CSA or the farm itself.
